I took this photo last October during a pre-dawn rhythmanalysis of the Smithfield meat market’s everyday rhythms. This shot captures how the linear rhythms of capital (transport, industry, commerce, mass consumption, etc) dominate the natural rhythms of the city, contributing to rising CO2 emissions.
